Turkey Tail mushrooms are rich in polysaccharides, which are complex carbohydrates with various health benefits. These compounds play a crucial role in supporting overall well-being. They enhance immune function by stimulating immune cells, promoting a robust defense against infections and illnesses. Their potent antioxidant properties help combat oxidative stress, protecting cells and supporting longevity. Research suggests that polysaccharide peptide (PSP) and polysaccharide krestin (PSK) have potential anti-cancer effects, inhibiting tumor growth and enhancing chemotherapy effectiveness. Additionally, these polysaccharides contribute to gut health by acting as prebiotics, nourishing beneficial gut bacteria as well as supporting liver function and aiding the detoxification processes. The Turkey Tail mushroom is the natural choice for immune support, cancer prevention, and overall health.

Tincture Process
Dual Extraction Method
- Locally grown or sustainably wild foraged whole dried mushroom fruiting bodies are crushed and ground to a powder. This mushroom powder is then placed into a glass container and saturated with food grade 96% ethanol for 31 days with daily agitation. This is done to draw the alcohol soluble compounds such as triterpenes out of the Chitin ( Mushroom cell wall ). After the 31 day mark the liquid is filtered separating the alcohol base from the mushroom powder. The alcohol extraction is then set aside and the second part of the process can begin.
- The same mushroom powder used in the alcohol extraction is now placed into a pot and covered with distilled water. This mixture is then simmered on the stove for between 3 & 5 hours to draw the water soluble compounds such as beta-glucans out of the remaining Chitin. The brew is then removed from the heat source and allowed to cool. Once cooled the brew is then filtered to remove the water base from the remaining mushroom powder.
- The alcohol and water base liquids are now combined and filtered a third time to complete the Dual Extraction process.
Total finished ABV - +-50%.
